ConcreteNet: A CNN for Deformity Detection in Ground-Penetrating Radar Images
September 2024 - Present
A discriminative convolutional neural network for classifying rebars and structural defects in ground-penetrating radargrams, trained on scans from the Georgia Southern Engineering Research Building and now being field-tested by the Georgia Department of Transportation.
Physics-Informed Neural Networks for Cold-Atom Sensors
September 2025 - May 2026
A physics-informed neural network pipeline that infers phase winding and circulation transfer from noisy release-interference images of Bose-Einstein condensates, with a supervisory control loop that tunes parameters between runs for exponential readout precision gains in Sagnac-effect rotation sensors.
Generalizable Zebrafish Control Models for Biomimetic Propulsion
September 2024 - May 2025
Extends my zebrafish-derived propulsion work with live ECG data and a neural network control model that generalizes across water salinity, temperature, and viscosity for fish-sized autonomous submersibles.
Double-target Bose-Einstein Condensate Atomtronic Rotation Sensor
August 2024 - December 2024
A proof-of-concept quantum rotation sensor for GPS-denied navigation that uses ultracold atoms shaped by light into coupled ring channels. I rewrote the rotating-frame Gross-Pitaevskii solver in Python and mapped the switching response across barrier strengths and rotation rates on an HPC cluster.
Wireless Online Real-time Language Expression Yielder
July 1, 2023 - July 15, 2023
A robot hand that can finger spell American Sign Language in real time using spoken input from an app.
A Comparison of Supervised Algorithms for Predicting Urban Crime
October 2021 - February 2022
This project evaluates the effectiveness of various supervised learning algorithms—Decision Trees, Random Forests, Naive Bayes Classifiers, Support Vector Machines, and Logistic Regression—in predicting urban crime rates in Atlanta, aiming to identify the most accurate model for resource allocation in law enforcement.
